Parental Alienation

When custody of the child is placed with one parent or the other, it is not infrequent to find the custodial parent having a negative impact on the child's mind with regard to the child's image of the non-custodial parent.  In short, the parent who spends most of his or her time with the child either voluntarily or involuntarily biases the child against the other parent.

When the child finds that one parent doesn't like the other, he or she feels compelled to adopt the same attitude in order to earn the dominant parent's approval.  This can cause a change in the behavior of the child leading to a diminished desire to spend time with the non-custodial parent.  The change is often sudden and in stark contrast to earlier relationships.

The symptoms of Parental Alienation are a sudden desire of the child to limit the amount of time communicating with the other parent.  You may find that your child, without explanation, no longer wants to talk on the phone or spend quality time with you anymore.  If you feel that your child is being biased against you, you can take legal action to correct this and gain custody over your child for a short time to regain your place in your child's life.

Fighting To Retrieve Your Parental Rights

Under the guidance of our Clawson & Clawson, LLP, attorneys, you can fight back in Court against forced alienation from your child. We will insist on a court appointed Child and Family Investigator or psychologist to examine and give a professional opinion on whether or not a child has been manipulated into forming an unfair judgment of you. On the strength of a competent analysis, we will take up the issue with the Court and insist on a renegotiation of the custody terms in order to regain the relationship you formerly had with your child.

Other than the Parental Alienation related legal services and compensation services, we have a wide range of similar legal and paralegal services that engulf:

One thing we can warrant is the quality of services and the final success achieved by our clients. We expertly tackle all opposition claims and ensure the favorability of the results for our clients.
